HDMI to VGA

An HDMI to VGA cable is a cable that allows you to connect devices with an HDMI output to devices with a VGA input. One end of the cable has an HDMI connector, typically a standard Type A HDMI connector. This end plugs into the HDMI output port of the source device (such as a laptop, Blu-ray player, or gaming console).  The other end of the cable has a VGA (Video Graphics Array) connector. This end connects to the VGA input port of the display device (such as a monitor or projector).
