It is a legal requirement when towing to ensure your brake & indicator lights are clearly visible to other road users. This adaptor is suitable for connecting vehicles with twin electrics, which include 12N electrics that provide the legal lighting (brake, indicator & fog) and 12S electrics that provide supplementary electrics (reverse lights, interior lights, appliances).
